Intel Security/McAfee Island of Hackable Toys

The holidays are a time of cheer but also an opportunity to deliver branded content in messaging in a unique, fun way. To that end we developed the Island of Hackable Toys, a web experience dedicated to sharing safety tips for this year’s hottest digital gifts. Playing off the Island of Misfit Toys of Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer fame, each page spoke to a specific digital gift, offered three shareable tips, and featured entertainment in the form of a contextually relevant poem and holiday song parody. The coup de grace was our Island of Hackable Toys sweepstakes; a gamification-like sweepstakes with a grand prize of a trip for two to Iceland. This sweepstakes garnered thousands of entries and even greater shares.
