Hackable? A Podcast by McAfee (Created by Response)

We know that educating consumers on cyber security, specifically what to look out for and how to protect themselves, isn’t easy, people just don’t want to think about it. That’s why when we brought the idea of a podcast to McAfee we told them that this was our chance to really connect to the audience by entertaining them. They bought into our thinking and nearly a year later our brainchild was born. “Hackable?” gives listeners an inside peek into the real-world effect of hacks usually only heard about on TV or in movies. We partnered with Pacific Content to help with the Series and Episode ideation and production work. For anyone else considering a branded podcast, they are the experts and we highly recommend them.
The podcast launched with a custom website, using a creative illustration style, that allows visitors to explore more 'behind the scenes' content for each episode. It also has a hidden gem for the super curious to find. Let us know if you find it!

To drive downloads and subscriptions, we focused on getting current podcast fans to listen. Our plan included in-podcast and social media advertising. Thanks to a stellar launch and just a massive number of people listening, 'Hackable?' went out of the gate #1 in Apple Podcasts Tech News category and has maintained this position for over 5 weeks. We couldn't be more thrilled with the results!
