API.ai Slack Landing Page & Video

API.ai’s conversational UX platform is, to put it mildly, a work of technological genius. The challenge for us is, how do you communicate genius in a simple, easy to understand format, and still make it fun? With the API.ai Slack landing page and video, we developed a theme of a developer Dr. Frankenstein. This bit of personality added some flavor to the new capabilities being offered to the developer community, while also leveraging a well-known pop culture reference to quickly communicate just what the technology does. The page is simple by design, breaking the action down into just three steps, with two CTAs driving people to build their own bots. The video was produced in-house, and puts API.ai’s solution on display in a contextually relevant manner.
